Beginning in the spring United States Nintendo Wii users will be able to rent movies with the Netflix service and watch them on their Wii consoles.
The service is already available for Xbox 360 and PS3, and Netflix may be able to pick up sagging sales by teaming with Nintendo. The Wii console is the fastest selling gaming system in history. December sales alone were over 3 million just in the United States, reports Mashable.
In the spring Wii users will be able to browse the Wii Shop Channel and the Nintendo Channel for games in addition to watching movies.
Netflix is one of the largest online movie rental companies in the world. They have over 11 million subscribers.
