NBA: Mavericks Push Pass the Spurs

The Dallas Mavericks has six players score in double digits led by Dirk Nowitzki and a big fourth quarter to beat the San Antonio Spurs.
The Dallas Mavericks took the bus over the interstate to battle the San Antonio Spurs at AT&T center in San Antonio, Texas. Dallas is right behind the conference leading Los Angeles Lakers and just got through pulling out a close win against the Detroit Pistons. The Spurs are in the middle of the pack, but have won five of their last six games.
The teams were evenly matched in the first quarter ending it tied at twenty six points a piece. The San Antonio Spurs ended the first half up 54-51 and added on to their lead at the end of the third quarter to finish it up ten points. The Mavericks got on their high horse in the fourth quarter by scoring 42 points and pulled out a 112-103 win.
San Antonio's Tim Duncan led all scores and rebounders with 31 points and 12 rebounds. Dirk Nowitzki carried his team with 26 points and bench player Jason Terry was second in scoring with 21 points.
