NCAAF: USC Tailback McKnight Opts for Draft

The University of Southern California Trojan's running back Joe McKnight has decided to enter the NFL draft after investigation.
Joe McKnight from the University of Southern California Trojans has opted to enter the NFL draft this year. USC held Joe McKnight out of the Emerald Bowl against Boston College last year because of an ongoing investigation about whether he violated rules by using an SUV that did not belong to him and his relationship with the vehicle's owner a Santa Monica businessman Scott Schenter.
McKnight was not cleared in time by USC's compliance department to participate in the Emerald Bowl. Joe said, "The time is right. This is the first healthy season and I really don't want to come back and risk injury." and said, "That the ongoing investigation did not factor into his decision to leave early.
