Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi is reportedly writing love songs during his recovery from the vicious attack that occurred last month.
Digital Journal reported last month that Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi was hit in the face with an object after a meeting with his political party. Berlusconi is currently in good shape and is recovering but to kill time, the Prime Minister is writing love songs for an upcoming CD, according to The Canadian Press. Berlusconi is collaborating with Neapolitan composer Mariano Apicella.
The multi-billionaire, who worked as a cruise ship singer during his younger days, wrote such songs as “There is love,” “But if I lose you” and “Stay with me.” Eight of the twelve songs are ready and is expected to be released some time in 2010, reports AFP.
“In 2010, there will be a new record, the fourth, of the musical duo Berlusconi and (guitarist Mariano) Apicelli...," said Corriere della Serra in a report. However, the title of the album and cover design remains completely confidential.
According to the Associated Press, Berlusconi made his first public appearance since the attack when he went to a shopping mall in Milan close to his villa on Thursday afternoon.
