NCAAB: Oregon State Give Top Ranked Washington a Scare

The No. 16 Washington Huskies dominated the second half to beat the Oregon State Beavers at home in Seattle, Washington.
The Washington Huskies are number 16 in the college ranks and only have two loses on their record. The Oregon State Beavers have won 5 out of the last 7 games before facing the Huskies. The Washington Huskies won 4 out of their last 5 games and need this win to stay a top the Pac-10 conference.
Oregon State entered Bank of America Arena ready to play jumping out to a early first half lead, but stumbled towards the end. The Washington Huskies took a ten point lead to end the first half and never looked back in the second half. The Huskies led by as much as eight points, but never seemed threatened by the Beavers' push.
Oregon State was led by their center Roeland Schaftenear with 16 points and 7 rebounds. Washington Huskies' forward Quincy Pondexter posted a game high in points and rebounds with 20 and 10 and fellow Isaiah Thomas added 19 points and 5 rebounds.
