Georgetown Hoyas' guard Chris Wright scores a game high 21 points to keep Georgetown looking good against St. John's Red Storm.
The St. John's Red Storm and the Georgetown Hoyas met at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. The Georgetown Hoyas are looking to keep their second winning streak of the season going after winning against Harvard. The St. John's Red Storm team is looking to keep pace with the top teams of the league and make their way to big dance.
The Red Storm couldn't get on track against the Hoyas as they looked off balanced the whole game. The Hoyas pressured the Red Storm into bad shots and turnovers finishing the first half 32-27. The Hoyas furthered their lead in the second half and Georgetown won 66-59.
St. John's guard Dwight Hardy led his team from the bench with 14 points. Georgetown's guard Austin Freeman and center Greg Monroe each scored 15 points, but the games high scorer was guard Chris Wright with 21 points, 2 rebounds and 4 assists.
