NFL: Saints Lose Second Straight Game at Home

The New Orleans Saints lose their second game in a row and second at home as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers pull out a close overtime win.
The New Orleans Saints try to protect the Superdome as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers travel to New Orleans, Louisiana. The New Orleans Saints just came off of a loss to the Dallas Cowboys to stop their unbeaten streak, but looked to get back on track against a troubled Tampa Bay team.
The Saints jumped out to a quick 17 point lead, but the Buccaneers retaliated with a 17 point scoring run of their own to tie the game in the fourth quarter. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers won the coin toss in overtime and took the opening drive down the field and capped off with a Connor Barth 47 yard field goal to win the game 20-17.
Saints' quarterback Drew Brees threw for 258 yards and a touchdown on 32 of 37 passing. The Buccaneers' quarterback Josh Freeman completed 21 of 31 passing for 271 yards and threw 2 interceptions and running back Cadillac Williams rushed for 129 yards on 24 carries to give the Saints their second straight loss.
