Former boxing world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson will be the special guest host for WWE's January 11's edition of "Raw."
A lot of boxing professionals have been involved with World Wrestling Entertainment since Chairman Vince McMahon branded the WWE with “Attitude” throughout the 1990s. Recently, famous boxers Floyd Mayweather and Ricky Hatton have been involved as special celebrity guest hosts. Mayweather actually fought at “Wrestlemania XXIV” against the Big Show.
Mike Tyson, also involved as a special guest referee at Wrestlemania XIV in the main event between Stone Cold Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels, will be back in the squared circle once again when he will be the special guest celebrity host of WWE’s January 11th edition of their primary program “Raw,” according to Inside Pulse.
However, WWE recently took down Tyson’s name from their list of upcoming celebrity hosts on their website. Some speculate, though, that WWE dropped the idea of using him because it may have a negative effect on the former CEO of WWE and now Republican Senatorial candidate for the state of Connecticut Linda McMahon.
