USC Makes Huge Comeback against Western Michigan

Western Michigan blows a big first half lead in the second half to allow the University of Southern California Trojans pull out a close win.
The University of Southern California Trojans and the Western Michigan Broncos met in Honolulu, Hawaii at Stan Sheriff Center. The Trojans just came off of an upset win against Tennessee and looked to keep their winning streak alive against Western Michigan.
Western Michigan took an early 15-8 lead and furthered their lead by the end of the first half 27-18. Western Michigan controlled most of the second half until the Trojan's turned their offense around. Western Michigan was up 31-24 and the Trojans ended the game on a 35-20 run to win the game 55-51. The Trojans had four players score in double digits being led by Mike Gerrity with 17 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. The Broncos were led by Martelle McLemore with a game high 21 points.
