The Arizona Cardinals had a scare in the Detroit as the Cardinals had to score with under 2:00 minutes to play to pull off out the victory.
Kurt Warner instrumented a 4th quarter drive to with a 5-yard touchdown pass to Anquan Boldin with 1:54 to lift the Cardinals to a 31-24 victory over the Detroit Lions. The Lions scored 24 second half points to make the game interesting and forced the comeback.
The Cardinals (9-5) no need a San Francisco loss or tie against Philadelphia to clinch the NFC-West.
Detroit fielded two quarterbacks in Drew Stanton and Daunte Culpepper. Stanton saw his second run of playing time this season throwing for 72 yards with a 10 for 19 day and one interception. Culpepper was 6 for 12 with 64 yards and also 1 interception. Maurice Morris led the way with 17 carries for 126 yards on the ground and 1 touchdown.
Kurt Warner was 23 for 37 with 233 yards, 2 touchdowns and 1 interceptions. The Cardinals running game was handled by Beanie Wells on 17 carries for 110 yards with one touchdown.
