Vikings get Back on track against Bengals

The Minnesota Vikings turned things around this week against the Cincinnati Bengals after an embarrassing lost to the Arizona Cardinals.
The Minnesota Vikings were at home in the Metrodome against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Minnesota Vikings needed to turn things around in Minneapolis, Minnesota after getting blasted in Glendale, Arizona. The Bengals are looking to add another win to their column and extend their lead in the AFC north division.
Both teams started off in a defensive struggle keeping each other out of the end zone in the first quarter. The Vikings kicking game showed up with Ryan Longwell making field goals from 44, 41 and 23 yards. Then each quarterback got on target as each threw a touchdown a piece to make the score 16-7 to end the first half.
The Minnesota Vikings defense played lights out in the second half shutting down the Bengal's passing game holding them to 91 total passing yards. It was a runner's game today as both team's tailbacks rushed for over 90 yards. Viking's tailback Adrian Peterson had 97 yards on 26 carries and 2 touchdowns, but Bengal's tailback Cedric Benson had 16 carries for 96 yards and was kept out the end zone. The Vikings win 30-10.
