A contest is asking people to create a short video that completes the phrase "Democracy is...", upload it to YouTube and get a chance to win a trip to Washington, D.C., New York and Hollywood.
The second annual Democracy Video Challenge was launched at the DVC website.
Video, completing the "Democracy is..." phrase, must be no longer than three minutes and can be any style. Submission deadline is on Jan. 31, 2010, and all the rules and guidelines are available here.
The contest is open for everyone aged 18 and older.
As the organizers announced, there will be six winers, each from on of the six world geographic regions: Western Hemisphere, East Asia Pacific, Europe, Africa, Near East, South & Central Asia.
