A giant condom is touring a UK shopping centre this week in an attempt to create awareness of sexually transmitted infections.
The giant condom, accompanied by staff and volunteers from Rotherham, UK, NHS will offer free chlamydia screening and free condoms.
The report in the Rotherham Advertiser says that at Christmas time there is an increase in unwanted pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections.
Keri Duffy of Rotherham sexual health team said: " We are holding our annual Sexual Health Week in December to highlight safe sex.
"Anyone who is sexually active can catch an STI, regardless of their age, gender or sexuality.
"Lots of infections don't show symptoms straightaway so we are advising anyone who has had unprotected sex to get themselves tested."
The week long campaign will be supported by staff from the Genito Urinary Medicine (GUM) department from Rotherham General Hospital and the Contraception and Sexual Health (CASH) Clinics from the Rotherham Community Health Centre also attended Monday's roadshow.
Representatives from Terrence Higgins Trust (THT) and SHIELD HIV Support Group are also involved in the week long paign.
