A beauty queen and former Miss Argentina has died from complications following cosmetic surgery on her buttocks. She spent three days in a critical condition in hospital.
The thirty-eight-year-old former Miss Argentina received cosmetic surgery on her buttocks but complications followed and the beauty queen passed away on Sunday.
Solange Magnano suffered the complications after have the gluteoplasty surgery. She died of a pulmonary embolism on Sunday in Buenos Aires.
A close friend, Roberto Piazza explained that the procedure involved injections and that the liquid had gone into her lungs and brain.
Piazza said, "A woman who had everything lost her life to have a slightly firmer behind."
In a
statement, Dr Gonzalo Cortes y Tristan explained that Solange Magnano arrived at the hospital suffering an acute respiratory deficiency. Her condition continued to deteriorate until she suffered the fatal embolism.
Solange Magnano, the mother of twins, won the title of Miss Argentina in 1994.
Her burial was shown on Argentinian TV on Monday.
