A raging brush fire broke out tonight in the Anaheim Hills area in Orange County. The fire is being driven by very strong winds and low humidity.
The fire broke out before 10:00 pm, according to KCAL Channel 9 in Los Angeles. Firefighters are on the scene. The fire is burning very close to the Highway 241 toll road. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) had to close the road because of the fire. About two miles away, on the other side of the hill, there are hundreds of homes. Firefighters are trying to keep the fire from going over the hill and threatening those homes.
