article imagePawsWay Center: The dominion for dogs and cats Special

By Andrew Moran.
Who says dogs and cats can't have a museum, pet shop and information center all rolled into one? PawsWay Center is one of the first companies in Toronto to create such a venture in the Harbourfront area.
In Canada alone, there are 5.4 million pet owners and one would assume that a large majority of those owners love their dogs as much as life itself. Dogs, and even cats, can bring people the love and joy as much as a newborn baby brings.
Now you can learn about the history of dogs and cats, information regarding each breed and the biology of your pet at the PawsWay Center in downtown Toronto.
Hundreds of dog owners in the Harborfront area bring their beloved pet(s) to the center to be weighed for free, socialize with animal lovers and other animals and maybe even get a toy from their table of pet gifts.
On November 21, PawsWay Center held a "PetCentric Yard Sale" for donations of new or used dog and cat items such as toys, clothing, beds, bowls and a large amount of others. All donations would help support local pet rescue organizations. The event ended on Saturday.
Pawsway Center is a Dog or a Cat's domain and museum. The center provides a place to learn about the unique history of all breeds, information about them and current event issues affecting dogs and cats.

The large center contains an animal hall of fame that contains images and background information of certain pets that have saved their owner, neighbours and strangers. Some dogs, such as one beagle, found a bomb in a tree that could have potentially murdered dozens of children in the area.
Another dog, Jarold from British Columbia, fought a giant bear that was threatening to attack his owner and the family’s other dog. Cats can even save lives such as Nemo from Toronto who woke up his owner who later discovered that her husband wasn’t breathing.

Torontonians can learn about the benefits of owning a pet and the affection one could attain.
PawsWay Center even provides facts about cats and dogs. For example, cats rather eat 23 small meals per day that contain 25 calories than big meals. Or a dog only wags his or her tail when someone else is in the room and never alone.
Indeed, there is so much information about cats and dogs that we never realized was known. Animals are very special to nature and PawsWay can help present this information to present and future pet owners.
