Thousands of Torontonians celebrated the 28th annual Swedish Christmas festival that started in Toronto on Saturday at the Harborfront Center.
Canada is known for its multiculturalism and on Saturday it was presented in Toronto at the 28th annual Swedish Christmas festival at the Harbourfront Center. Thousands of Torontonians attended the event and were enlightened in Swedish cuisine, literature, music, dance and a variety of other things that make Sweden unique.
On Saturday, the Swedish Women’s Education Association International Toronto Incorporated, which is a not-for-profit organization that supports student exchange programs across Canada, presented festive entertainment to families across the Greater Toronto Area and Swedes who are far away from home.
Before the feature presentation began, visitors were given the opportunity to purchase Swedish books from the past to the present, partake in Christmas crafts and baking with their children and even dance around the Christmas tree.
