As the Toronto presents its "Winter Magic" to Torontonians, "Ice, Wine and Dine" came to a conclusion this holiday season on Saturday as hundreds of people gathered on the small street to enjoy performances, food and music.
On Saturday, Toronto's "Ice, Wine and Dine" ended its holiday event as hundreds of Torontonians packed the small street to roam around the different vendors as some carved ice sculptures and some gave fortunes. It seemed to be like a resort in Iceland as majority of everything was made of ice just like the James Bond film "Die Another Day."
People everywhere crowded the little vendors to eat gourmet food, which consisted of desserts and appetizers like spinach and chicken pies. While one vendor had two fortune tellers give readings dressed all in white with a long line-up of people waiting to see what their future has in store.
Moving west was a little more taboo with one giant angel woman on stilts danced and entertained the people, while posing for photographs. Right behind the tall acrobatic woman was a bar on ice, literally. Dozens of alcoholic drinks were stationed and served on an ice bar.

A jazz band dazzled the crowds as the trumpet player blasted his trumpet, which made one man say, "blast that Harry James trumpet!"
Digital Journal reported last week on “Illuminite,” which was also part of the city’s “Winter Magic” initiative, and the final performance was from Circus Orange that consisted of fire breathers twirlers and dancers. At “Ice, Wine and Dine” Circus Orange once again amazed the crowd as one soloist acrobatically twirled her sticks of fire.

One Torontonian told
Digital Journal that he has gone to every single event since “Winter Magic” began and that he will continue to go, even next week’s “KidzFest” when he takes his grandson, “Finally my tax dollars is paying for something I enjoy.”
