Rupert Murdoch is trying to sell his three radio stations in Russia: Nashe Radio, Best FM and Ultra as well as News Outdoor advertising agency.
As the Polish Internet portal Wyborcza reports from Russia, all the three radio stations are expected to generate yearly income from $3 to $7 million and Murdoch's price for them is $16 million.
Wyborcza states that Murdoch is pleased with his interests in Russia. But this success is precisely what leads him to withdraw from that country. As the media and advertising business is a dangerous business in Russia, the News Corp. wants to withdraw from that country without the loss.
As the Moscow Times reports, Vladimir Voronov, president of the Russian unit of the News Corp., didn't comment Murdoch's decision.
