Filipino boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao has just won a 12-round TKO decision over Miguel Cotto of Puerto Rico in their 'Firepower' match held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas Nevada.

Pacquiao knocked down Cotto in the third and fourth rounds but the pound-for-pound king was bent on prolonging the fight to let the audience enjoy and to make boxing fans happy as he said repeatedly during the pre-fights interview.
Cotto came out strong and was able to land some hard punches, but Cotto was unable to deal with the speed. Pacquiao was landing three shots for every two Cotto did early. After the knockdown in the fourth, Cotto’s offense was nonexistent as he spent most of the last two thirds of the fight fending off Pacquiao’s onslaught,

Cotto was no match with Pacquiao's display of speed and power, the pound for pound king pummeled the Puerto Rican boxing icon into submission in the 12th and final round.
Pacquiao got his wish to win seven times in seven different weight classes and made history as the first boxer to do so.
Pacquiao' coach Freddie Roach said he wants to have Mayweather next for his favorite ward.
