Pacquiao Prepares to Enter the Ring for his 'Firepower' match

Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao and Puerto Rican WBO welterweight champion Miguel Cotto are now preparing to climb the ring for their 'Firepower' match at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas Nevada.

In about two hours in Las Vegas Nevada, popular boxer Manny Pacquiao of the Philippines will climb the ring of the MGM Grand Arena to face his boxing opponent, Miguel Cotto of Puerto Rico for the WBO championship crown. Pacquiao is currently preparing for his most challenging fight of the year while Miguel Cotto is aiming to snatch the Ring Magazine pound-for-pound title from the the Filipino boxer. Thousands of Pacquiao and Cotto fans trooped to Las Vegas as early as last week to witness the biggest boxing event of the year. Today's boxing event has created monstrous traffic in the Internet and graced major newspaper headlines around the world. Websites and blogs are filled with news stories and comments about today's boxing event in general and Pacquiao and Cotto in particular. Pacquiao is favored to win the fight based on analysis of boxing experts and predictions of boxing fans while Cotto is the underdog. In the supporting bout of the 'Firepower' match, Abner Cotto won over Lupe Guzman in a unanimous decision. Subsequent supporting matches are in progress.
