Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao and Puerto Rican WBO welterweight champion Miguel Cotto seem to be creating Internet traffic of unmatched proportion while Pacquiao's images and news bits occupy prime spots of todays newspapers and sports magazines
A few hours before the highly publicized 'Firepower' match of Manny Pacquiao and Miguel Cotto, the Internet and print media are filled with articles and videos of Manny Pacquiao, the world's most popular boxer and the 56th most the most influential person of the world.
Barely two weeks before his date with WBO welterweight champion Miguel Cotto at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas Nevada for the WBO welterweight crown, Pacquiao's images and news articles occupied six pages of Time Magazine's Asia edition, with his photo as the magazine cover for the November issue of the prestigious news magazine.
In the Internet, online news magazines and all sorts of websites and blogs are filled with news and images of Pacquiao. Sportswriters and columnists who love (and hate) boxing, are racing to beat their deadlines before anyone else does, to report on the latest news about the world's most popular boxer.
