On Friday, Tennis superstar and multiple time Grand slam champion, Andre Agassi, was at Toronto's Indigo bookstore in the Manulife Center signing and promoting his new book "Open."

As some people waited for upwards of two hours to either get a signature of his latest book "Open" or just to snap a photograph of the famous Tennis superstar, Andre Agassi appeared at Indigo in the Manulife Center in downtown Toronto on Friday.

The host of the event was pumping up the audience with free gift cards if they volunteered to dance on stage, play Tennis Wii, answer trivia questions about Andre Agassi or relive their favorite moments about Agassi.

Customers could barely breathe as over 600 people attended the book signing and dozens more stood to get a glimpse of the Tennis pro. Excitement grew even higher as Agassi was 20 minutes late due to a radio talk show interview a few blocks from Bay Street and Bloor Street.

Every minute someone would consistently ask the security guards or clerks who was attending and everyone was surprised that the Grand slam champion was appearing in Toronto.

“Open” is an autobiographical tale on the Tennis legend and tells the story of his use of Crystal Meth in 1997, his loathing of the game of Tennis, his love of his current wife Steffi Graf and that he wore a toupee during the years of his infamous mullet.
