US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton Says Pacquiao will Win

The United States Secretary of State Hillary Clinton predicted that Filipino boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao will win in his "Firepower' match with Puerto Rican boxer Miguel Cotto this Saturday.

The forum was held at the University of Santo Tomas in Manila. A student from the University who is a member of the University basketball team asked Clinton about the chances of Pacquiao when he faces Miguel Cotto this Saturday at the MGM Grand Garden hotel. “Of course the Pacman’s going to win, is there any doubt?” Clinton said when asked about Pacquiao’s match against Miguel Cotto in Las Vegas November 14 (US time) at a forum aired live by the ANC news channel at the University of Sto. Tomas in Manila. She said she would watch the match.

The US Secretary of State is on a 24-hour stopover en route to Singapore to join US President Barack Obama to attend the Asia Pacific Economic Conference (APEC) along with the heads of Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). Clinton, who is very popular among Filipino-Americans, is on her third visit to the country. She says she intends to come back to the Philippines soon.
