Three well known personalities including the US Ambassador to the Philippines have made known their individual choices on the upcoming 'Firepower' match between Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao and Puerto Rican boxer Miguel Cotto.
Less than a week before the 'Firepower' match between Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao and Miguel Cotto of Puerto Rico, three well known personalities in their respective fields predict a win by Manny Pacquiao over the Puerto Rican boxer Miguel Cotto.
Property developer Donald Trump says Pacquiao will win over Miguel Cotto because of his speed. 'If Pacquiao is victorious, Mayweather would be the next fight that I and all fans would want to see.” said the popular business magnate.
Donald Trump is an American business magnate, author and celebrity. As a businessman Trump is the Chairman of the Trump Organization, a real estate developer. He is also the founder of Trump Entertainment, a company that operates popular hotels, casinos across the world. He is likewise the producer and host of the popular TV reality show 'The Apprentice'. Trump looks forward to the mega fight of Floyd Mayweather, Jr. and Manny Pacquiao next year.
Another well known personality, former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson, says he thinks Manny Pacquiao will knock out Cotto in 7th or 8th round. “I pick Manny Pacquiao by knockout. I think he will knock him out in 7 or 8. Manny just has too much for Cotto,” former undisputed heavyweight champ Mike Tyson said.
The United States Ambassador to the Philippines, Ms. Kristie Kenney is likewise rooting for Manny Pacquiao.
Asked to make a fight prediction, Kenney replied: “Well you know it’s hard to say because I don’t know boxing as well as other people do. I’m new to boxing, a new fan only because of Manny.
“He’s the ‘thinking man’ boxer. He thinks about what his opponents are gonna do. I was really struck every time I talk to him by how smart he is on the strategy,” she continued.
Less than a week before fight night, boxing fans from around the world have started to converge in Las Vegas to witness this year's biggest boxing event.
Manny Pacquiao and his team have moved to Las Vegas today from their Wild Card Gym venue in Los Angeles for the final segment of the pound-for-pound king's training and conditioning.
The camp of Miguel Cotto had likewise moved to Las Vegas from their base in Tampa, Florida where they spent most of their time in the training camp.
Pacquiao and Cotto will collide at the MGM Grand garden arena on November 24. At stake is Miguel Cotto's WBO welterweight crown.
