Manny Pacquiao on Nike's Under the Hood Special

On Nov. 7, Manny Pacquiao was on a live special show titled "Under the Hood" presented by Nike Sportswear which took place at the Montalbán in Los Angeles .

The intimate party took place at the Montalbán in Los Angeles where Team Pacquiao: Freddie Roach, Buboy Fernandez, Alex Ariza, and of course the man of the hour himself Manny Pacquiao took the stage and sat down and answered questions in front of a live packed audience full of over 1,000 of Pacquiao's biggest fans. The show aired with live streaming at the following websites: Nikesportswear.com, Facebook, and Ustream, on Saturday night at 6:00 p.m. PST to an audience watching worldwide. Many local Los Angeles fans were notified by email, Facebook and Twitter last minute that the show was going to air and they began to line up outside the Montalbán to attend the show. Even surprise celebrity guests made an appearance via video and satellite, including actor Emile Hirsch, Extra host Mario Lopez, and actor Mark Wahlberg. They were all there to wish Pacquiao luck for his upcoming fight with Miguel Cotto and expressing why they are all fans of his. Nike SB superstar P-Rod made a special appearance live on stage to wish Pacquiao luck. The special also showed an amazing knockout highlight reel, a video of Pacquiao's workout routine, and Pacquiao singing a duet performance with Filipino pop star Melissa R., performing "Lahing Pinoy." Nike Sportswear intends to present future "Under the Hood" specials featuring star athletes. The upcoming fight between Pacquiao and Miguel Cotto will take place this Nov. 14 in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand and can be watched on pay per view.
