There are many different reasons why someone would be kicked out of school. One student from Brazil was ousted from her university for wearing a mini skirt to class.
After the incident, ads were seen in newspapers publicly accusing her of possessing loose morals, and she was heckled by many of her fellow peers for wearing the small, pink garment in question to Bandeirante University in Sao Bernardo de Campo.
Geisy Arruda, 20, is accused of disrespecting academic dignity.
Arruda told the AP she was appalled. "I was the victim," she said. "How can I be expelled? It's absurd."
Arruda will be allowed to return to classes with the protection of a security guard, but it will be a struggle for life to return to normal for the private university student.
