A bus driver for Atlanta's public transit has been suspended after refusing to let passengers off of his bus if they didn't pray.
The MARTA driver, Leroy Matthews has been suspended for five days and told that he is not allowed to proselytize to his passengers. Matthews has been with MARTA for six years.
Allegedly passengers were told to join hands in prayer when they attempted to get off the bus. The driver left his seat during the incident to pray with the group for several minutes reports WSB TV. It is not known what the prayer was about.
The November 3 incident was reported to MARTA authorities when a passenger filed a complaint.
