The Michael Jackson documentary was a chance for the public to see him perform live at rehearsals. This film was the last act the public will see from him. He didn't disappoint neither did the film.
This was supposed to be Jackson's last high profile performance before the public in London. Although he passed away in July, maybe this was his last big performance, albeit in rehearsals. If you are a fan of his, I don't think you were disappointed in what you saw. Maybe you were not a fan, but were curious and saw the film, you were probably amazed at how Jackson still moved like he was in his twenty's.
Reports indicate the film has made $101 million worldwide in 4 days. Sony bought the rights to the film for $60 million dollars. If you do the math, Sony has already profited over $40 million dollars. That was a pretty good investment. This film was released for a two week run only. With the success of the film, that could change.
