Wikipedia report that since the first case of Swine Flu, Turkey has started using thermal imaging cameras to test for swine flu in passengers arriving from international Countries. On 11th August, 312 cases of Swine Flu were confirmed in Turkey. The very first death occurred on 24th October in Ankara. The first death in Turkey came with news of 958 confirmed Swine Flu cases.
Reuters report, as Swine Flu attacks Turkey, ministers issue their own health warnings. Turkey's health ministers tell residents to stop kissing and avoid handshaking for the next five months. Health ministers in Turkey believe that if residents stop kissing and avoid handshaking then it will prevent the spread of H1N1. This comes in light of Turkey receiving its first death due to Swine Flu.
