A high school in the Trois-Pistoles of Quebec began vaccinating students two days earlier than was originally scheduled.
Trois-Pistoles has a population of approximately 3,600 and is located 250 kilometers east of Quebec City.
CBC news reports the vaccinations were given two days prior to Monday’s start because 13 of 16 samples from students attending Arc-en-Ciel in Trois-Pistoles revealed the presence of the H1N1 virus.
In the province of New Brunswick, vaccinations began last Wednesday with health-care workersm who would be giving the shots to the public, getting vaccinated first.
Ad campaigns across Canada will be appearing, beginning next week ,to inform the public when and where the clinics will be held.
