ESPN baseball analyst and former New York Mets general manager Steve Phillips admits having an affair with a 22-year old production assistant.
On the heels of the David Letterman admission of sleeping with female employees, another television personality admits to an affair. According to the New York Post and Bostom.com, Phillips has taken a leave of absence of to deal with the situation. Brooke Hundley is the woman he had the affair with. Hundley allegedly sent a letter to Phillips' wife after he ended the affair. Phillips wife, Marni, has filed for divorce according to the Post.
Phillips was also involved with a female employee while he was a general manager with the New York Mets. ESPN issued the following statement. "We were aware of this and took appropriate disciplinary action at the time. We have granted Steve's request for an extended leave of absence to allow him to address it. We have no further comment".
