As Foothills Farm became the setting for a gruesome crime was political violence at the heart of it? Political Violence is taking place all over the world and people are taking the law into their own hands.
Raymond Mhaka reported Foothills Farm was the location of a terrible and violent crime on Sunday. Pinsi Tauro, Gladys Guvheya and Tariro Benhura were the victims of a horrendous assault causing actual bodily harm. A ZANUPF who also fought as a war veteran was the perpetrator of the gruesome attack. Mr Jacob Chiripanyanga carried out the attack at 0700 hours in the morning.
Foothills Farm is located in the beautiful Bindura. Tauro who was badly attacked was left fighting for his life with severe injuries. Tauro recieved extreme head injuries and as a result lost large amounts of blood. Tauro passed out and was left unconcious for up to one and a half hours before he was found and taken to hospital in Bindura. Tauro is still waiting to recieve treatment and it is unknown if he will survive or not. Mr Jacob Chiripanyanga used an iron rod to carry out the violent attack.
The police have not punished Mr Jacob Chiripanyanga for carrying out the attack despite evidence being retained by police. The most likeliest motive behind the crime is political violence. Political violence is growing across the Country and police officers refuse to take action where political violence is involved.
Violence is spreading all across Zimbabwe even reaching the most urban areas where violence would not usually be heard of. Political violence is a real fear for residents in Zimbabwe. Political violence is a fear that residents live with every day and it is responsible for many deaths.
Political Violence is affecting residents all across Zimbabwe who are losing their faith in the government and are taking matters into their own hands. Mr Jacob Chiripanyanga had a long running dispute with the people at FootHills Farm and eventually took matters into his own hands. Mr Jacob Chiripanyanga believed that the government would leave the case and not be able to reach a suitable resolution so he decided that violence was necessary to reach his own political objective.
