As Madonna continues to party and rehearse in her posh and upscale New York apartment, one of her neighbors is not too pleased over the loud music and hours of frequent dancing so she has decided to start a lawsuit against her.
Karen George, of Manhattan, lives right above Madonna in her condominium and is going to sue Madonna over the loud music and hours of dancing because it is causing a lot of commotion, according to The Canadian Press.
The lawsuit, which was filed on Friday, states that Madonna is using her $4 million Central Park apartment as a rehearsal and dance studio, according to the Associated Press. This causes neighbors to endure “unreasonably high-decibel, amplified music,” walls shaking through vibrations and annoyance for up to three hours per day, reports The Daily Mail.
The building’s board has already threatened to evict Madonna if the incessant noise does not cease. None of Madonna’s aides have responded to the allegations made. Prior complaints have been made over Madonna’s noise last year. However, the building’s block asked for her rehearsal schedule so other residents could be notified.
