An exciting added attraction to the 'Firepower' fight between Manny Pacquiao and Miguel Cotto on November 14 will feature the middleweight fight between Julio Chavez Jr. and Michigan-based Troy Rowland. The fights will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Undefeated Light Middleweight Julio Cesar Chavez and Troy Rowland will be in the under card of 'Firepower' fight fight Manny Pacquiao and Miguel Cotto on November 14 at the MGM Grand garden arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Chavez is the son of the legendary Mexican boxer Julio Chavez, Sr. who made a record of 115 fights with only six losses during his colorful boxing career.
The young Chavez is undefeated in his professional boxing career with a winning record of 40 wins and a draw. Chavez is fresh from his win over Luciano Cuello who was also undefeated last March 28 and a first round TKO over Jason Lihoullier last September 12, 2009.
Sportinglife.com reports:
JC Jr, son of the legendary Mexican great, will face Michigan-based Troy Rowland in a 10-rounder at middleweight on the big MGM Grand bill in Las Vegas.
Chavez Jr is the WBC's number-one ranked light-middleweight contender, and will be expected to improve his 40-0-1 record against Rowland (25-2).
