Former United States Vice-President and Academy-Award Winner Al Gore will deliver a speech in Toronto at the end of November. It will focus on business and the environment
Co-Nobel Peace Prize recipient and proponent of the global warming theory, Al Gore, will travel to Toronto on November 24 to deliver a speech about business, the environment and how changes in the economy is affecting the global environment, according to City Pulse 24.
The author of "The Assault on Reason" will speak at the 2009 Allstream Global Forum in November and proceeds from the event will be given to the David Suzuki Foundation.
In a press release, according to The Canadian Press, MTS Allstream President Enterprise Solutions division Dean Prevost said, “We are very excited to welcome Vice President Al Gore as the keynote speaker for the Allstream Global Forum.”
Last year, Steve Forbes spoke at the Forum. In 2007, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. addressed Allstream customers in Calgary and Toronto.
