12-year-old Boy Prepares to Undergo Sex Change

A 12-year-old boy in England is now preparing to be the youngest person in the country to undergo a sex change operation.

The boy, who showed up once in school wearing a dress, with the help of his parents, have legally changed his name to a girl's. Meanwhile, the officials from the boy's school called an emergency meeting to order students to treat him as a girl. The school administrators also gave the boy a separate bathroom and changing room. If ever the hormone treatment and surgery pushes through, he/she would become the world's youngest patient to have a sex change. However, Psychotherapist James Caspian told the Sun that the child would not be allowed hormone treatment in the UK until passing puberty. The identity of the boy was not revealed for his welfare. Earlier this year, German Kim Petras - born Tim - became the world's youngest transsexual at 16.
