The government has cut prison terms of 38 corrupt officials and terrorists by between 15 days and one and a half months in conjunction with Idul Fitri.
The Corrupt officials and terrorists deserve the remission because of their good behavior while serving their jail terms.
Among the recipients of Idul Fitri remission are former Medan mayor Ramli Lubis, fishery minister Rohmin Dahuri and former Makassar mayor Andi B, who have their jail terms reduced by one month each.
Maskur who was jailed for his role in the 2002 Bali bombing had his jail term cut by one month. While the names of other convicted terrorists who received remission still not published yet.
