A woman has accidentally transferred £2,000 to the wrong person online after clicking the wrong button on her online bank account.
Claire Logie had been meaning to transfer the money into her savings account, but accidentally sent it to somebody that she had dealt with a number of years ago whose details had been saved on the account.
After realising her mistake, she assumed that the money would be refunded, but it's now six months since the incident happened, and Claire has not received anything.
What makes the mistake more embarrassing is the fact that she works for one of the four major High Street banks.
"I am not a dizzy person. I am not an idiot. I made the mistake, and it is very easy to do," she said, according to BBC News.
However, she can't take the receiver to small claims court, as the bank concerned won't reveal their identity under the data protection act. The Financial Ombudsman can't help either, as it is not directly concerning a bank's actions.
