One college student has cashed in on an impromptu political t-shirt. Now every time her t-shirt is described and her website mentioned on the news, her website crashes over the demand.
Ashleigh Kenny like any college student who is passionate about the political atmosphere decided it was time to make her voice heard. She attended a local Tea Party and came armed with a t-shirt that has caused great controversey. The shirt is dark blue with the words "R.I.P U.S. Constitution" on the front, and on the back a quote from the late Ronald Reagan:
"In this present crisis, government is not the solution to our problem, government is the problem."
Yesterday Ashleigh was on Fox and Friends and mentioned her website
matternow.org. Minutes after her website mentioned it crashed due to the volume of people attempting to view it and order her t-shirt. She has sold about 100 so far, and is attempting to meet the new demand.
The Fox and Friends interview was not the first time she was mentioned in the media, before hand Bill Mahar asked Representative Jack Kingston about the t-shirt that Ashleigh gave to him.
Kenny is excited that her t-shirts were controversial enough to cause a discussion as she believes the government has become far too large and overshadows the will of the people further endangering the constitution.
On Ashleigh's website they have expressed their gratitude to everyone interested in the shirt.
Visit Matternow.org for Asleigh's blog, to order the t-shirt, or to get involved in other ways.
