On Thursday, Michael Steele announced that the RNC raised $6 million in July. Now it has been released that the DNC raised $9 million in July
According to a report filed with the Federal Election Commission on Thursday, the Democratic National Committee raised more than $9 million in the month of July, which is $3 million more than their counterparts, the Republican National Committee, reports CNN.
Presently, the DNC has $16 million in the bank and does include a variety of rebates and refunds.
Michael Steele, Chairman of the RNC, announced that his party had $22 million in the bank and no debt.
Both parties have raised astronomical amounts of money, which will show that plenty of resources will be used for the mid-term elections in 2010.
