Michael Vick, the disgraced NFL quarterback, has signed a two-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles, according to ESPN.
The Philadelphia Eagles will hold a news conference tomorrow morning
announcing the decision, although his agent Joel Segal confirmed the deal this evening. Vick arrived in Philadelphia on Tuesday morning and remained there through last night, presumably to hammer out the details of the deal.
On July 20th, the NFL reinstated Vick as a quarterback after he served 23 months in a federal prison for dog fighting and conspiracy charges. In 2001, Vick was the top draft pick and was the highest paid player in the league at one point. He was the star quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons until 2006, when he was arrested and suspended from the NFL.
The Atlanta Falcons and the Philadelphia Eagles will play one another on December 6th in Atlanta.
