After showing a photo identification with his truthful name, an Anchorage man proceeded to rob a Federal Credit Union of $600 last week.
A man entered an Alaska USA Federal Credit Union Branch last week, and after giving his truthful name, account number and a photo identification, handed the teller a robbery note written on a receipt. The note threatened that he had a gun, and the teller gave the robber $600 in cash before he fled. The man, Jarell Paul Arnold 34, was arrested a short time later after temporarily evading police and charged with federal bank robbery charges in connection with the incident.
One of the FBI agents investigating the recent robbery knew of the man, because he had arrested him in 2004 on bank robbery charges as well. For that incident Jarell Paul Arnold plead guilty and received 57 months in prison.
The accused is currently being held in the Anchorage, Alaska jail.
