According to a British study Australian men make the world’s worst husbands. They simply refuse to lift a finger to help out with housework.
The study showed that men and women will make the choice to live together or get married quicker when they are certain that their partner will help out with housework and looking after the children.
According to an economist from the University of Oxford women are better off with a man from one of the Scandinavian counties, the US, or Great Britain. Dutch men rank somewhere in the middle, followed by Irish, Spanish, New Zealand and German men with Aussie men coming in last place.
The researchers said that in these countries women will rather stay single than have to take on more chores in the home.
The research was carried out in twelve countries among 13.500 men and women in the age group ranging from twenty to forty-five.
