Woman hides cocaine in child’s diaper

A woman who was travelling to Amsterdam from the Dutch Antilles has hidden cocaine in the diapers of her little daughter.

The Dutch police arrested the drugs courier at Amsterdam airport during a so-called 100 percent security check. The story was reported in several news outlets. The woman had also swallowed packages of cocaine. In total, she was carrying in excess of a kilogram of cocaine. The woman was travelling from the island of Curacao to the Netherlands with her two-year old daughter. She declined to cooperate in a voluntary body scan at Schiphol, Amsterdam airport, because she alleged to be pregnant. Besides the cocaine packages in the woman’s body the detectives also found wrapped drugs in the toddler’s diapers. It is the first time an apprehended courier tried to smuggle drugs in this manner.
