Activists from different parts of the world are in unison, Saturday, calling for an end to the ever-increasing human rights abuse in Iran.
Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International, two international human rights watchdog led the
demonstration in 80 cities worldwide.
According to the protesters, there are about hundreds and even thousands of opposition activists detained by the government. Following last month's disputed election that allowed President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to stay in power.

Meanwhile, small rallies were staged simultaneously in several Australian cities.
The global demonstration also includes protest rallies in Geneva, Paris, Copenhagen, Tokyo, Oslo and Seoul.
