Nadya Suleman has signed contracts for each of her 14 children to earn $250 a day to star in a reality television show. The contracts were filed in Los Angeles Superior Court to make sure the tots will earn about $250,000 over the next three years.
The show will begin filming this September 1. The show will be produced by Eyeworks, an European production company.
According to the documents the children will earn $125,000 for 36 days the first year and lesser amounts for the next two years which will have shorter filming periods. If there is the need for more filming time then the children will be paid at the same rate for their time.
The contract makes sure that 15 percent of the gross payments are put into a "Coogan Trust Account." The Coogan Trust Accounts are trusts required by California law for children under the age of 18. The trust makes sure that minors will have some of the money that they earned as children will be in an account when they come of age.
