The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have confirmed remains found outside of Guelph, Ontario belong to Victoria Stafford, 8. The young Ontario girl disappeared on her way home from school on April 8.
Toronto’s Centre of Forensic Sciences used dental records to confirm the remains that were found on Sunday in Mount Forest were of Victoria Stafford.
Two suspects were arrested in May in connection to the disappearance and murder of the young Woodstock girl.
Terri-Lynn McClintic and Michael Rafferty have been charged with first-degree murder and kidnapping in connection to the Stafford case. Their trial is scheduled for next year.
