Apple had approved an application for the iPhone that promotes school shootings, according to some tech experts. The "Zombie School" app was soon taken off the online store as public outrage hit the Web.
The player kills cheerleaders, principles, football players, nerds and other zombie students from the vantage point of a "Zombie shooting tower." The game, made by Retarded Arts, allows players to choose the name of the school they wish to wreck havoc on.
Retarded Arts has shoot back at their critics saying that their game is just another zombie game.
We hope that folks at Apple, PCWorld, TechCrunch and others read this article, as we would like them to understand the root of this confusion and put our app back on the store to let people see what Zombie School is really all about.
The question that many sites had about the approval of the game was what is Apple's policy. There have been other apps that have not been allowed that seem harmless but some like this app that promotes violence is pushed through.
Apple has been in the hot seat before because of questionable apps being on their online store, such as a game that had players shake a baby to shut him up.
