Members of the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) together with the Iowa State Fair and prized sculptor Sarah Pratt came up with an idea of creating a Michael Jackson sculptor, as a tribute to the king of pop.
However, it isn't the usual sculptor you're thinking of -- Iowa State fair which is popular for it's butter cow and large livestock shows are planning to immortalized the king of pop in butter.
Meanwhile, PETA says instead of using butter, it would be better to use the "Earth Balance" -- a natural nondairy spread that raises good cholesterol while lowering the bad ones, simply a healthier medium.
On the other hand the plan to create the sculpture isn't finalized yet.
According to the organizers of the fair. The public will decide as to whether the sculpture would push through.
As of late more than 70,000 votes had been cast. Hence, with hours before the polls close, you can still give your input by clicking here.
